In addition, claws help a cat jump and retain their balance. Trimming a kitten’s claws is simple. We trim the babies’ claws on a regular basis and they soon learn to accept this procedure as routine. They have grown up with various scratching posts and climbing toys and have been taught to use them instead of our furniture although you will have to show them what you expect in your home. These cats are smart and want to please their owners. For more information on declawing go to: www.declawing.com and  www.cfainc.org

Our cattery is registered with TICA, CFA, and ACFA. Pet buyers will receive a registration for their kitten with one of the above registries. If a kitten is not registered as a Ragdoll, then the chances of it being a Purebred are doubtful. You are entitled to registration papers and should inquire about this from the breeder before buying a kitten. Unfortunately, when a breed becomes popular and in high demand, there seem to be an abundance of unethical breeders selling anything to anyone. Beware of “cheap” Ragdolls and get to know your breeder.

We look forward to hearing from you. We love to talk about our “Dolls” and to answer your questions. You can contact us by email, celestrailcats@gmail.com. Thanks for your interest in this breed. Once you own a Ragdoll, you will wonder how you ever got along without one!
